Drainage Pro of CT is the Connecticut shoreline’s dedicated drainage company. We don’t do landscaping. We don’t do general contracting. We solve drainage problems — French drains, yard drainage, foundation waterproofing, grading, downspout routing, and every related service that keeps water where it belongs and away from where it doesn’t.
How We Got Here
We built CT GutterPro in 1986 on a simple idea: focus on one trade and do it better than anyone. Four decades later, that idea has served over 8,500 customers and built a reputation across the Connecticut shoreline for honest work and expert service.
Over those decades, we noticed something that kept coming up on job after job: homeowners who invested in a proper gutter system were still getting water problems because the drainage below the gutters was wrong. Downspouts dumping at the foundation. Yards graded toward the house instead of away from it. Standing water in lawns because there was nowhere for it to go. The gutter system was doing its job perfectly — but the last step of the water management chain was broken.
We saw the same gap in drainage that we’d originally seen in gutters: homeowners were hiring landscapers and general contractors to solve technical drainage problems that require specialized knowledge. French drains installed at the wrong slope. Drainage stone without proper filter fabric. Regrading that moved the water problem from one spot to another. These weren’t bad contractors — they were contractors doing work outside their specialty.
